                            PRICE:3.6USD                                      Pan Tianshou(1897-1971), a painter and art educator, was a native of Ninghai, Zhejiang Province who engaged in painting and art teaching for many years. He assumed the office as the professor of the Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts, the dean of Zhejiang National Art College, the vice president of the China Artists Association (CAA), the president of CAA Zhejiang Branch and the deputy of the first, second and third National People’s Congress. As one of the founders of traditional-Chinese-Painting teaching, Pan Tianshou was well versed in free sketch of flower and bird and landscape. His brush was powerful and expressive, employing a unique style combined with poem, calligraphy and painting as a whole.
